When I was younger, I used to find it fun to draw over pictures of people. Paint the background of your spread in your favorite bright color. You can choose to use an image from a magazine or to print out a photo of yourself and glue it into your art journal. Next, get some of your favorite drawing materials and markers and start drawing on the image and in the background. Give the image glasses and antlers or a party hat and a bow tie.
